Eligible Entries
A homebuilder, developer, associate, or consultant that is a member of the Building Industry Association may enter a development in any or all of the MAME categories. Any Southern California development that actively maintained a sales complex anytime between January 1, 2007, through December 31, 2007, is eligible for entry. Entries submitted for previous MAME Awards meeting the above criteria that have not won a MAME Award are eligible for re-entry.

Deadline
All entries, including fees and exhibits, must be received by February 8, 2008. Entries should be delivered to Peter M. Mayer Productions at 10416 Hamilton Street, Alta Loma, California, 91701.

Entry Fees
Fees are payable at the time of entry submission and are $150 per entry. Entry fees are payable by check only. If more than one entry fee is included in any one check, a photocopy of that check must be attached to each entry form. No entry fee is required for Community of the Year or Special Awards. Please make checks payable to SMC/MAME.

Finalist Notification
Finalists for MAME 2007 will be notified via U.S. mail by February 29, 2008. Finalists will also be posted on the Sales & Marketing Council website, www.smcsocal.com.

Submission Guidelines
Carefully review all entry procedures and requirements. Some categories have been revised from last year. Specific entry requirements are listed with each category. A separate entry form, completed in its entirety, must be submitted with each entry. All entry forms must be typed. Names will appear in the program exactly as they are printed on the entry form. If you cannot download the forms, please contact Lisa Parrish and a copy will be sent to you. Photocopy the entry form if multiple submissions are being made. All entry material not mounted must be submitted in an envelope with the entry form stapled to the outside. Do not use glue, tape, or paper clips.

CD Disc Requirements
Submit one CD per entry that contains digital scans of the required images. Images should be scanned with a high-quality scanner to output an image with a resolution of w-1800 pixels x h-1200 pixels, 240-bit RGB color (8 bits/channel). Uncompressed file size should be approximately 6 megabytes. Save all images as JPEG files at highest quality. Please name files with community name, category number, and image sequence number (e.g., Treetops: logo, #1).

All collateral and mounted material must be clearly identified on the back with community name and category number.

Judging
Each entry is rated on an individual total point system by each judge and then submitted immediately to auditors for tabulation and determination of the finalists and winner in each category. The auditors are present during and responsible for monitoring the entire judging process. Special Awards are judged by separate committees.

Changes to Categories or Entries
The MAME Awards Committee reserves the right to combine or eliminate any category or categories due to insufficient entries. Additionally, the Committee reserves the right to create new categories should the MAME judges determine a situation warrants such action. Judges may also re-categorize any entry, if in their opinion, it has been entered in the wrong category, or if the entry is better suited to another category. Special Awards may be presented at the judges’ discretion.
